From 1976 to 1980 Neo Tele-Tronix Pvt. Ltd. has manufactured special types of Transformers to cater to various categories of Industries, Power Sectors, Project Works, Educational Institutes and Laboratories etc. During that period, NTPL also introduced some test equipment. Oil test set is one of those, cast resin HV Instrument Transformers are also introduced for oil test set.

During 80's NTPL introduced numerous Test & Measuring Equipment covering almost every field of Electrical Power Engineering and grabbed in house indigenous technology.The company has set out commitments towards operating as an environmentally responsible business, and devised the strategy for developing and fabricating high-efficiency Instrument Transformers of which common properties conform to the highest global standards, and are designed in way that streamlines the transmission level of voltage and measurement of current. We at NTPL, are specialized is designing and fabricating high-performance Instrument Transformers & High Voltage Transformers that feature in stable frequency range accurate harmonic measurement, therefore ensuring the optimum functionality.

Founder & Mentor

NTPL was founded in the year 1975 by Prof. Manindra Nath Basu Ray, better known as Prof. M. N. Ray, who is an eminent Applied Physicist, after his retirement from the Department of Applied Physics, Calcutta University.

He started his entrepreneurship in manufacturing a special type of Transformers and Equipment mainly for Research & Academic Institutions, the very first production being in the year 1976.
